What are Injectables?

Injectables are minimally invasive treatments designed to refresh your appearance without surgery. Dr. Zarcone uses two primary types of injectables: neuromodulators (like Botox and Xeomin) to relax wrinkles caused by muscle movement, and dermal fillers to restore lost volume and hydration.

Botox® and Xeomin®

Botox is a purified form of botulinum toxin that has a proven history of treating medical conditions and is a highly effective treatment for moderate to severe wrinkles. When Dr. Zarcone injects Botox into targeted muscles, the toxin blocks contractions, causing muscles to relax and wrinkles to virtually vanish.

Xeomin® is another form of botulinum toxin that works similarly to Botox but specifically treats moderate to severe frown lines between your eyebrows.

  • Belotero®: A thin hyaluronic acid filler that integrates into the skin for subtle results, such as treating vertical lip lines.
  • Radiesse®: Contains tiny spheres of calcium that immediately add volume and stimulate long-term collagen production.

What should I expect during treatment?

Dr. Zarcone uses tiny needles that are well tolerated, though a topical numbing cream can be used for your comfort. Injections typically take 10-20 minutes, allowing you to return to your daily routine immediately.
